For someone experiencing homelessness, stability can start with something as simple as having a safe place to sleep, shower, eat, and figure out what comes next.
In the last 8 months, United Resource Project has served 450+ individuals throughout Hampton Roads through transitional housing, essential needs assistance, transportation support, job readiness, and connections to community resources.
But keeping this work going takes more than opening the door. Our transitional home relies on:
- Staff
- Utiliies
- Food
- Household Supplies
- Transporation
- Maintenance
- Programs
- Resources
- AND a community willing to help.
That is why we created Sponsor Stability.
100 Businesses for Stability
United Resource Project is challenging 100 Hampton Roads businesses to step up and help strengthen the work being done for individuals experiencing homelessness and housing instability in our community
Our goal is to raise $30,000 in 90 days to help support the day-to-day operations of URP’s transitional home and the services that help individuals move from crisis toward stability.
And we’re not looking for one company to carry the whole thing.
